A2

The Astaria 2.0 or "A2" incarnation began with a server transfer, and was easily the most heavily populated incarnation of Astaria to date. The A2 incarnation had the highest number of clans, highest number of active wizards, and routinely saw online player counts over 100. It was during A2 the the Paladin's Guild and Elementalist's Guild were tested and released. Between the server stability problems and the rise of the MMO scene at its end, it also saw the most rapid loss of active players.

The beginning of A2 saw the release of the Bard's Guild. Early A2 was also memorable for large parties of relatively low-level characters taking on big mobs in order to get good gear. As would be expected, there was much death and mayhem during this early period.
