A guild in Astaria is what a class is in a MMO. It is your lifelong profession and what determines how you damage, and eventually kill, your foes in battle. Each shares a communal area (with rooms, boards, and in some cases, stores), a communal "lower" vault in which traditionally lower-level and quality items were placed for the newer members of the guild, an "upper" vault in which higher-level and quality items were placed, and a communal chat channel or "line." Some guilds have specialty rooms or functions, it is up to you to discover what these are and what they do.

There are 9 guilds in Astaria which you may choose to join: Bards, Clerics, Druids, Elementalists, Fighters, Magi, Paladins, and Psions, but under absolutely no circumstances may you join the Thieves.

Finally, each guild has restrictions, by race and by statistics. Below are two tables, showing the restrictions.
