Syntax: engrave <item> with <message>

Once a fighter has attained this degree of knowledge of metals, he or she becomes able to decorate and enhance the appearance of weapons and armor. This can only be done at the forge in the Fighter's Guild, but the effects can be quite extraordinary. There is, however, a small chance of damaging the item you are engraving, based on your skill in metallurgy.

You can add several one-line engravings to a weapon. And, if any time you wish to return the item to its original state, you may use the "unengrave <item>" command.
