Illuminate and Imbue are more or less irrelevant for specialization. Shroud duration is increased, so if you keep shroud up regularly, it will cost less sp to do so. Shard damage is rather large at higher levels, and the specialization helps with that greatly. Consecrate will also last longer and do more damage for the sp you spend on it. This allows you to be more likely to keep it up while hunting without using too much SP to be able to maintain the cost.
