| This is one of the most important skills to any successful (and |
| wealthy) thief. With this skill the thief is able to analyze an |
| item and determine its merits and detriments. Also, a thief is |
| able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a potential |
| opponent. This ability has saved many a thief from certain death |
| and dismemberment. |
