| With this ability, the thief uses wild, distracting gestures and |
| fast persuasive speech to escape a sticky situation, all while |
| scanning his or her environment for an out. This is particularly |
| useful when the thief has just been caught stealing! If successful, |
| opponents become distracted for that critical few seconds until the |
| thief is able to disappear into the shadows. The overall effect is |
| the cessation of all combat. |
