Gnomes have keen, well developed senses that are often capable of spotting things that others might leave behind. Gnomes can search the corpses of slain enemies for money or valuables, often uncovering items of great worth that would have otherwise been lost forever... or at the very least a few spare coins. Naturally, more powerful or wealthy foes will be far more likely to be found carrying concealed objects of worth than say, a poor, rheumy-eyed beggar would. Unfortunately, even with a Gnome's keen eye and persistent nature, many times even the most careful search will turn up naught but moths and lint.
