Pouch of runes
Description
While there is no single defining feature of a druid, there is one absolute which all druids hold in common: a pouch of runestones, used for divination and prophecy. Each druid's pouch may vary as much as his or her individual personality; one might coddle her runes in the most luxuriant and plush of velvet while another might treasure his in the finest of Sakai silk, and still a third could prefer rough, hand-tanned leather from the depths of the West Forest. Commands
runes list - lists all the runes in your pouch runes cast - takes a rune from your pouch and casts it. Cast five times to form the Druid's Cross. runes search/stop - search for a more valuable stone to replace one of your current runes.
While searching, a druid cannot execute any commands. If a druid searches while already in combat, the druid will continue to attack, but no new commands can be sent, such as "kill x", "xa" or "lance." This includes game-activated commands, such as "wimpy" - so be extremely careful when searching for runes during combat.
The Ogham order of discovered runestones is random. All runes in the Ogham will be discovered in the current tier before the next tier of gemstones is accessed.
Only one stone can be discovered in a single search.
Once a rune is discovered and upgraded, it cannot be downgraded. This means that a druid who has upgraded all their runes to the fourth tier can no longer discover upgrades. Further research on this skill can be accomplished only by new druids with new pouches of runes.

Commentary
In no way is the 100% time needed an accurate one. There is a rumor which states that your chances of finding a rune whilst searching may be improved while in a cave-like room, but in many cases, the 100% chance of finding a rune time is overkill. There are many factors and without access to the code or at least the formulas, it is impossible to say with complete accuracy what the "you will find a stone by this time" is. Please regard these figure as rough guides for future research.
The following factors have been suggested by the druid developers to be potentially relevant, although the degree to which each affects your chances has not been revealed:
- Beginning tier of the stone
- Elapsed time
- Presence in your personal grove
- Earthshaping skill
- Room's terrain
- Room's aligned element
- Presence indoors/outdoors
