An obsidian mirror
Description
Basic description
This silver case is round and compact, easily able to fit in the palm of an average-sized hand. A hollow square handle is attached at the top and ornately decorated with feather-like swirls. It has room enough for a pocketwatch chain to fit in the opening. The backside of the case is engraved with wispy thin lines forming the shape of a large winged bird. The front contains a showy obsidian stone that is so well smoothed and polished, it reflects with more accuracy and clearear images than other mirrors made of only glass. The dark black of the obsidian seems to disappear in the mirrored images reflected back with perfect clarity. The snowy owl represents necrotic forces and death.
