Finding the right path to faith and fortune is a task we all are faced with. The Cleric's Guild is for those who seek a devout life of service to their chosen deity in this realm called Astaria. Though our beliefs may differ, we have found common ground upon which we have built our guild and structured our prayers.

The cleric is a being of spiritual devoutness that is granted powers from their deity. The manifestations of a cleric's prayer may differ from that of a guildmate's depending on the deity they follow. Some prayers may nudge you away from your chosen path of faith. Should one stray from their chosen path the punishments are swift and severe. A pious cleric need not fear and will enjoy the benefits of great power, which is a holier grant by far than the blasphemous others who practice magic in this kingdom.

There is one sacred undertaking that requires immense knowledge, quick reactions, and is unique to clerics. We have the power to bring the dead back to life. We can resurrect both players and monsters, sometimes forcing them to serve as our minions. We are not only granted powers over things beyond life, but we are also able to heal the living and remove any poisons or diseases that ail them.

If you find, upon reading this and inquiring at our guild doorstep, that the life of a cleric is to your liking, you will be granted an opportunity to pledge your devotion. A wise cleric knows that each is born free to choose their own paths to faith and prosperity.  We shall pray your choice was the correct one.
