Guild Level: 1 SP Cost: 15 spell points Skill: Atmosphere Syntax: lance <target> Druids, directly attuned with the very essence of nature, possess the inherent ability to draw forth nature's might, bending it to Dragmar's will. Using lance, a druid seizes control of the natural order and unleashes a single lance of lightning at a specified target. When used outdoors under a cloudy sky, your lance will have a chance of being more effective, able to draw fully upon the built-up static in the natural world.
Commentary
Lance is the first attack lore the druid learns and will be used extensively until some time after the druid learns the blast lore. Note that a druid should not immediately switch to blast upon acquiring level 10. Like the elementalist's rite strike, the sp-to-damage ratio favors lance for some time.
Lance takes 2 rounds to cast.
Unlike the bard skill aria, lance maintains a good sp-to-damage ratio, despite being a level 1 power.
