Guild Level: 10 SP Cost: 45 spell points Skill: Atmosphere Syntax: blast <lightning|ice|fire> at <target> As a druid progresses in skill, his or her influence over nature and the atmosphere increases, making the druid capable of issuing forth a blast of raw elemental power. A more advanced form of "lance," this ability provides a druid with not only a more powerful effect, but the ability to call upon Dragmar to alter the natural order, imbuing the blast of energy with whatever natural element the druid requires, regardless of season or environment. The possible natural elements follow: * Lightning - a crackling blast of electricity summoned from the sky. * Ice - a debilitating blast of cold drawn from the air's moisture. * Fire - a scorching blast of fiery destruction, drawn from the sun. While it is not required to be outdoors to use this ability, the effect is greatly enhanced when the druid is able to fully call upon the forces of nature. As such, when outdoors, the druid may take advantage of the following weather conditions to increase the blast effectiveness: * Cloudy - Your lightning strike will draw forth more natural strength. * Sunny - When the sun's rays are shining down, your fiery blast is magnified by several degrees. * Snowing - When snow is falling, the task of gathering forth the necessary moisture and cold air makes your icy blast that much stronger.
Commentary
Blast takes 2 rounds to cast and the druid must wait one round before casting blast again.
