| Ninja are trained in the skillful art of deception, both in and out   |
| of combat. During a technique that distracts the opponent, a          |
| well-trained ninja can slip quickly into the shadows and dart         |
| amongst his or her confused attackers. What may appear to be a        |
| single blow landed while using this technique may in fact be several  |
| blows struck in rapid succession. The effects of properly employed    |
| shadow blending can be both impressive and terrifying to those on the |
| receiving end. Moreover, the effects of shadow blending temporarily   |
| make the ninja un-stunnable although this does not prevent the        |
| ninja from being held or trapped by magical or physical means.        |
| Normally, performing a technique or trick will end the effects of     |
| shadow blending early but a sufficiently trained ninja can choose     |
| to purposefully do this in order to launch a powerful attack.         |
|                                                                       |
| Note: When purposefully ending blend, the more rounds of blend that   |
|       remain result in a more potent attack. Ending blend the round   |
|       it begins results in maximal damage.                            |
