Bards aren't known for their fighting prowess. If you want to beat the stuffings out of a monster, this won't be the place to do it. However, Bards excel at entertaining a crowd (and, in the process, perhaps misleading said crowd). Bards have a number of "roleplay" skills, including shamsay, brew, perform, croon, costume, dye, and recite; however, Bards also have have a number of valuable combat skills, particularly skills that assist those who are partying with other adventurers.
